We both us walker’s now , it would be very helpful if you had a handicap bar on the wall next to the toilet. As always the staff is very friendly and helpful, I love come here

Unit small, kitchen very cramped, looking into hillside on the rainy days we were there was a little depressing.
I think the poor view and small unit was the problem. Very clean overall. We had to change to this resort 6-8 weeks before our arrival because our original reservation in Coronado Beach had the sole elevator not functioning and my husband can’t climb stairs due to knee surgery. I understand we didn’t have priority for a better room at Surfside. That, combined with heavy rains and Christmas closures of many things was a bad combination and led to the feeling of being trapped in a cave.
Location in Dana Point was great to get to other areas when weather allowed.

Everything has been poorly updated. The bathroom door hits toilet.
OMG redone the counter tops and not by using whatever paint epoxy is there now!
