It's a very nice resort with beautiful views of the ocean. Staff were friendly and prompt on bringing you anything you needed. I would visit again.

Very nice rooms, great location, friendly staff.

This is a really great hotel, great parking is easy to get in and out. And it's right by the beach and a path to the beach.

Porter and housekeeping were nice to help get my bags/food into the room when the elevators were out (first time ever). The text messaging to the front desk does not work as advertised in the rooms unless they text you first(?). Gives an error message so you have to call with any questions. No one came to fix the bad smell and gnats coming from the sink disposal. No square baker pan to cook a sheet cake or cookie sheet. Need that to cook a pizza as well. So had none and had to order pizza$$. Towel exchange was weird. They picked up my towels from the hallway, then asked me later which ones I needed instead of seeing what I turned in and replacing those. Children shouldn’t be allowed to shriek and holler down the hallways or at the pool. We come here on vacay to get away from that. But overall a very nice room, kitchenette, with sparkling workout room, jacuzzi and pool. The complimentary lotion & soap smells wonderful.

Will most likely return. Great location, free use bikes and decent workout room are just some of the nicer features. Very good stay!

We had a wonderful time at the SurfSide Inn! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. It was a beautiful beach and close to many other areas of interest. The beach cruiser rentals were a huge plus for our family. They even provided helmets for the kids, and beach toys to borrow to take across the street to play. The pools and hot tub were clean and we had a great time. We would definitely stay again!

I absolutely loved my stay here and wished I could have stayed longer. The location directly across from the crosswalk and bridge is perfect. I enjoyed watching the Surfliner and Metrolink traverse by throughout the day. It’s walking distance to four restaurants including Olamendi’s right next door. Even though the property is located along the PCH, the rooms are completely soundproof at night with the doors closed; I didn’t hear any traffic noise or noise from neighboring rooms either, but could still hear the lovely low sound of the train as it passed by in the middle of the night. “Idyllic” is the word I would use to describe my stay.
